Dima Al Eisawi is a distinguished strategic leader whose work sits at the intersection of corporate asset management, infrastructure capital planning, financial strategy, and institutional development. With a career built on analytical excellence, governance expertise, and long term strategic vision, she continues to influence the future of sustainable public sector and economic development on a global scale.
Her professional journey spans leadership and advisory roles across government, infrastructure, and financial services sectors. She has advised public sector organizations in Ontario on long-term asset stewardship, fiscal sustainability, and evidence-based investment planning, helping institutions strengthen decision-making and optimize infrastructure investments for future generations.
Dima’s leadership experience includes serving as an Advisor for Corporate Asset Management within municipal-level government, contributing to regional economic growth through the Western Region Development Council, and supporting major infrastructure and financial transactions during her tenure with EY. She currently serves within the Abu Dhabi Government as Senior Manager, Strategic Affairs, where she leads strategic planning initiatives focused on SME development and economic advancement.
Recognized as an emerging voice within Canada’s infrastructure sector, Dima was nominated for the 2022 Emerging Leader Award by the Women’s Infrastructure Network in recognition of her contributions towards advancing asset management practices and strengthening public sector governance and planning.
Beyond her executive leadership, Dima Al Eisawi is also an accomplished academic and researcher whose work focuses on service excellence and innovation within financial services. Her published research includes Innovation as a Determinant for Service Excellence in Banking (2012) and Service Excellence in UK Retail Banking: Customers’ Perspectives of the Important Antecedents (2015), reflecting her commitment to innovation, customer-centered systems, and institutional performance.
Her academic and professional qualifications further reinforce her multidimensional expertise. She is a certified asset management planner through the Municipal Finance Officers Association Ontario and the Canadian Urban Transit Association, holds certification in AI and business strategy from the University of Waterloo, and earned her PhD from Coventry University.
